What-Fic?
Spec-Fic, or Speculative fiction, is all non-factual narrative, in whatever form, that reflects alternative realities in some way. It embraces science fiction, horror, fantasy, and other genres that deal with the possibilities outside normal existence
If you like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Friday 13th, Spiderman, Dracula, Minority Report, Star Wars, X Files, Mad Max, The Mask or The Matrix then you're already a fan of speculative fiction.
It's as simple as that.
